ALTERNATIVE surgeries are being offered to patients following objections to plans to relocate people on the register of retiring Crumpsall GP Dr Simenoff.

Patients attending Oakleigh Medical Centre were originally told that they would be automatically transferred to an alternative practise in Cheetham after Dr Simenoff retires.

The surgery, which also has a private dental practise on the first floor, is due to close but the dental surgery will remain open.

Dr Simenoff's patients have now been told that they will be entitled to choose their own GP from a dozen surgeries that are accepting new registrations.
