GRANTS of up to £3000 are on offer to community groups.

The Community Network for Manchester - known as CN4M - is inviting bids for cash to fund projects that help people improve their job prospects and develop community initiatives.

Grants can range from as little as £50, up to a maximum of £3000.

To qualify for a grant projects must help to reduce barriers to employment, provide training and skills, encourage community co operation, improve quality of life and offer value for money.

Application packs are now available and bids must be submitted by 4pm on Friday 27th July.
