at Abraham Moss Theatre are performing the fairytale classic Sleeping Beauty to raise money for charity.

The traditional pantomime story has been adapted to add extra local appeal and is expected to attract big audiences when it opens on Tuesday, January 22.

The wicked Madam Miserina's curse has fallen upon Moss forest as she viciously victimises her niece Iris. Can Prince Steven of Harpington Hey rescue his Sleeping Beauty from Miserina's clutches?

Will the joint power of the Seasonal Fairies and the Elementals prove to be enough in this battle of good versus evil? And more importantly, will Dame Dimples ever marry Albert Ross?

The show promises to be a fantastic evening out for all the family. It is being billed as a 'show like no other' and definitely not to be missed.

This is the seventh annual charity pantomime performed by the Abraham moss Theatre and is staged this year in aid of the North East Manchester Project 4 Inclusion minibus appeal.

The show runs from Tuesday, January 22 until Saturday, January 26 with evening performances at 7.30pm and matinees at 1.30pm. Tickets are priced ?5 and ?3.50 with special school matinee rates available.
