EXTRA staff are being taken on to help run regeneration programmes and manage recreation services in north Manchester.

Cheetham and Broughton Partnership is recruiting a new administration assistant on a salary of up to ?17,000 to help run the operation until August 2004.

The 37-hours-a-week post will involve providing support services to the North Manchester and Cheetham and Broughton Regeneration Teams.

In particular the successful candidate will be responsible for providing support for Surestart, which aims to help families with young children, and the Education Action Zone in the early stages of the development of both programmes.

A centre manager's secretary is being taken on at the Abraham Moss Centre which
provides a wide range of services to the Centre users and to the local community.

The secretary will be paid ?12,618 - ?13,500 for 37 hours a week to provide administrative support to the centre manager and the management team.
