organisers are hoping for a bumper event in Crumpsall this year with more stalls and groups taking part than ever before.

The carnival takes place at Crumpsall Park on Sunday, July 15 when there will be a parade including bands, dancers, entertainers and children in fancy dress winding its way from Herristone Park at lunchtime.

There are still vacancies for stall holders on the day. Stalls selling goods for profit will be charged at ?10 while information stands or stalls raising funds for charity will cost ?5.

People will need to bring their own table and should book their space as soon as possible through Helen Lambert on 211 0995.

Stalls of any kind will be considered including games, competitions, food, face painting, hair braiding, badge making, jumble/bric-a-brac, plants and crafts.
