Graham Stringer
candidate Graham Stringer has predicted cuts in public spending if the Conservative Part comes to power.

Graham Stringer, Manchester's former council leader and the sitting MP, says 152 childcare places in Blackley would be lost if the Tories win and the Working Families Tax Credit would be scrapped.

He claims 14,708 pensioner households stand to lose their winter fuel payments in Blackley and 5,840 households with someone over 75 will lose their free TV licence.

Mr Stringer warns30 doctors and 60 nurses in the constituency could be lost along with 60 teachers and one school plus 60 police officers and 30 prison officers at Strangeways jail.
