IVE candidate Lance Stanbury has promised to deliver common sense solutions to Blackley.

Mr Stanbury has said he will campaign to increase the number of police officers on the street and increase investment in road building while cutting fuel tax.

He says pensioners will be better off under his party because one million more elderly people will pay no tax and Blackley pensioners will benefit from an above-inflation increase in basic state pensions.

Mr Stanbury claims Labour's share of the vote is expected to slide in Blackley from 70 per cent in the last general Election to 53 per cent this time while he predicts the Conservative vote will double to 32 per cent.
