OERS in Crumpsall are being urged to object to a poster campaign by a young people's sex advice agency targeting passengers at the local tram station.

The poster publicising the Brook Advisory Agency has enraged some parishioners at St Anne's RC Church who believe the posters should be withdrawn.

They are concerned that the posters are intended to catch the attention of children travelling to and from schools on the Metrolink tram route and have urged fellow worshippers to object.

The poster - sited at the top of the stairs at the station and directly next to the route map - raises questions concerning sexual relationships and gives contact numbers for advice on contraception.

Members of the congregation are now asking Metrolink bosses to remove the posters.
