![]() David Broadbent, Persimmon Homes Managing Director, with Firswood Site Manager Mike Walker Persimmon Homes beat off stiff competition from more than 2,000 construction projects to snap up a Built in Quality trophy recognising Blackley's Firswood development. The construction has been named as one of Manchester's top building projects by the local authority's Building Control Service which awards the accolades on the recommendation on a judging panel. Judges visit and assess each site on safety, speed and fault rectification as well as compliance with building regulations, access for people with disabilities and construction standards. The scheme includes a mix of two and three bedroom semi-detached and three and four bedroom detached homes aimed at first-time buyers and young families. It is located off Victoria Avenue East, opposite Blackley golf course. |
