POLICE are appealing for help in their hunt for three masked men who raided the Toy Box pub in Blackley.

The three walked into the pub on Victoria Avenue East shortly after closing time on Sunday, November 26. One man was carrying a firearm and forced the manager to open the safe.

The manager emptied the contents and the robbers snatched the cash before escaping in a dark coloured saloon car.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the three men acting suspiciously near the pub or may know anything about the crime.

All three men wore black clothing, masks and gloves. Two of them were black, one was 6ft 2in tall and was of stocky build while the other was 5ft 10in tall and of medium build. The third man was 5ft 8in tall and was slim.
