DURING November north Manchester residents can take part in a range of opportunities to comment on services run by Manchester City Council.

Local people will also be asked to identify the four most important issues for their area which, if tackled, would bring about the greatest improvement.

The consultation programme is part of the new way of co-ordinating the delivery of the city council?s services with an area focus.

Introduced last April, it aims to bring together various departments to meet the needs of residents in a ?joined-up? way.

Views from residents will be fed into an action plan for the coming year which will be put together showing targets for improvements to council services.

Consultation sessions will be held on:

November 9 Harpurhey Asda 6pm to 8pm
November 10 Chain Bar Methodist Church 2pm to 4pm
November 14 Damhead Neighbourhood Centre 2pm to 4pm
November 17 TLM Centre Jocelyn Street 2pm ? 4pm
November 20 Lightbowne Learning Centre 6pm ? 8pm
November 23 St Dunstan?s Parish Hall, Kenyon Lane 2pm ? 4pm

An extra venue is to be confirmed in Charlestown.
