ROBBERS on bicycles stole ?250 from a Crumpsall bookmakers after throwing a brick through security glass. Two masked men carrying a brick and a metal bar walked into Coral Bookmakers on Lansdowne Road and shattered the security glass before leaping over the counter. They snatched the money from the till and ran out to escape on pedal bikes. Police are hunting two black men. One was 6ft tall and slim, the other was 5ft 7in. One wore a dark green balaclava and the other was wearing a Nike jacket with an orange tick on the back. Anyone with any information should contact Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111. |
