POLICE are hunting two armed robbers who raided the Global Video store on Cheetham Hill Road last Monday evening (8/5/00). The two, both over 6ft in height and dressed in black, walked into the store at around 9.30pm and demanded cash. The staff retreated to a locked room and one of the two leapt over the counter and ripped out two tills containing about ?300. Police later confirmed they escaped in a stolen car. |
